If any Telegraph Cable landed in the Colony under licences granted by the Government is at any time in any way injuriously affected by the working of the undertaking of the Company, the Company shall pay the expense of all such alterations in or additions to such cable as may be necessary to remedy such injurious effects, provided however the said Company shall only be liable under this section for injurious effects caused by the working of its own undertaking.
For the purpose of this section, a Cable shall be deemed to be injuriously affected by an act or work if telegraphic communication by means of such Cable is, whether through leakage, induction or electrolysis, in any manner prejudicially affected by such act or work.
